Our third meeting has now ended successfully. We were able to cover a number of necessary plans and still find time for some team building activities. We all seem to be able to work well together, despite all having strong personalities. Compromise is a word that we seem to be able to understand. Based on our experience so far we should be able to meet the challenges which we face in the Philippines and find solutions to each of them. I have a great deal of confidence in this group of people.
Some bad news has come today. It seems as if the Filipino team has had visa difficulties and will not be coming to Canada this year. I had looked forward to meeting them here and learning more about the educational situation which we will be facing in their country. It also opens up questions about what challenges we might still face, before we leave our homes!!!
